Plant-based is a term that’s used to describe veganism, and so much more.
Plant-based is a euphemism of sorts for veganism -- it's more inviting. It can include vegans and vegetarians (and all their types) as well as include people who are flexitarian (a person who has a primarily vegetarian diet but occasionally eats meat or fish) or pescatarian (a person who eats mainly vegetarian and occasionally fish).
The beauty of my invitation to explore more plant-based eating is that you make the rules. You decide how much you want to lean in, if at all, or if you just want to watch, wait and see if anything interests you, your lifestyle, your beliefs or your taste buds.
